Centers are required to have trained personnel dedicated to 24/7 to monitoring video and EEG. This requirement can be met by having staff take center-developed training or the ASET LTM 100: Introduction to Long Term Monitoring for EMU Personnel course. Centers should list the person who completed that course in Center Annual Report and upload the course completion certificate to the EMU Policy folder in their center folder at naec.box.com. Centers that offer their own monitor watcher training, should upload documentation of the center’s training program for monitor watchers to the EMU Policy folder. That documentation could be slides or syllabus for the training. REEG.Ts that monitor video and EEG of EMU patients do not need to take the ASET LTM 100 course.
